PRIVATE EVENTS

The Back Room is an authentic prohibition-era speakeasy in the Lower East Side. The vintage 1920’s décor, period pieces and secret room behind the bookcase, provide the perfect setting for a private any event. There is a lower bar area and an upper main lounge cocktail service area with couches and cocktail tables. There is also smaller private bar towards the back. We call this satellite bar "The Toy Shop”

Please note: our venue has a unique policy, on Fridays and Saturdays all guests must be age 25 and older (exceptions can be made for a few guests.) We are 21 and older Sunday thru Thursday. This rule applies to private events as well as reservations and walk-in guests.

FULL BUYOUT

Rent the entire lounge! A full buyout option is available with a minimum spend cash bar or open bar. Each event is priced on a case-by-case basis. The price is based on the day of the week, how many people, the start and end time and staffing requirements, etc.

Because we are usually open to the public and not solely an events space, there is an opportunity cost factored into the price. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays have the highest rental rates.

TOY SHOP| PRIVATE ROOM

The Toy Shop is a private, secret bar, located behind a bookcase door. It can be only be rented with an open bar. (We do not offer cash bars in the Toy Shop.)

Enjoy a private event in the satellite bar with your own dedicated bartender and your own playlist. Light food is also permitted.

Prices for the open bar depend on the number of guests, what time the party starts and how long the party lasts. The capacity is 40 people.

SISTER BARS!

We have two other lounges. They both have the option to rent with a minimum spend or open bar and they both have a significantly lower rental rate than The Back Room!

Revision Lounge is located in the east village and The Auction House, on the upper east side.
